A revolutionary internally threaded nut that can be installed in any thickness material, including plastic, fibreglass and ply. These threaded inserts work differently from other of rivet nuts because they expand into the material rather than outside. During the installation process the smooth shank portion is drawn up into the upper knurled sleeve of the rivet nut, which causes swelling into the material.
