Weld Nuts
Brands you know and trust - Maumac®
Weld nut threaded inserts.
Weld nuts provide a permanent welded threaded anchor point on steel sheet, plate and fabricated components where access to the rear of the assembly is limited or where a conventional nut-and-bolt fixing is impractical. Designed for secure attachment to raw steel surfaces, these low-cost threaded inserts offer excellent load distribution and a reliable captive thread for repeated assembly. Featuring weld projection points or locating holes to assist accurate placement and weld fusion, weld nuts are widely used across automotive, appliance manufacturing, truck fabrication and general light engineering industries.
Weld nut key features.
- Creates a permanent welded threaded anchor point
- Ideal for blind or hard-to-access fastening locations
- Excellent load distribution across the mounting face
- Suitable for automotive, fabrication and general engineering use

Recommended Parent Material Thickness
Recommended for welding to steel sheet or plate materials from approximately 0.8 mm thick and above, with best results typically achieved in light to medium gauge fabrication. Thinner materials may distort during welding, while thicker materials may require adjusted weld settings to ensure proper fusion.
