The Huck® 256 Hydraulic Installation Gun is a powerful, heavy-duty tool made in the USA, designed to install 7.9 mm (5/16") and 9.5 mm (3/8") Huck® Lockbolts and structural rivets using compatible nose assemblies. Featuring an optimised stroke for single-cycle installation, a concentric inline pull piston and plated piston rods for extended seal life, it delivers strong, reliable fastening performance for demanding fabrication and industrial applications.

Understanding Nose Assemblies
A nose assembly is the prerequisite attachment that installs either Huck bolts or Structural Rivets - in essence, the link between the Huck gun and the fastener. Huck guns require a nose and their selection depends on the tool, fastener, & diameter.
Lock Bolt guns and their interchangeable nose assemblies provide the versatility to install either a Structural Rivet or a Pin & Collar Huck bolt. At Aerobolt, we can assist with selection, here is an overview of the popular options associated with the HG-10256.

Nose Assembly Maintenance.
Keep the nose in good operating condition requires a couple of key tasks:
- Keep nose assembly tight on tool piston.
- Clean nose assembly jaws on a regular basis by removing metal shards from the jaws and other locations with a suitable instrument.
