Flanged Threaded Timber Inserts for Softwood timber
These self tapping inserts have an internal & external thread, making them ideal for softwood timber applications such as pine, particle boards or MDF . The external thread cuts & embeds itself into timber, whilst the internal thread is suitable for a matching fastener. Some inserts are supplied with a screwdriver slot to assist the installation process. Also known as timber shield nuts & skein nuts.
