Rivets

Pop Rivets, also known as Blind Rivets, are one of the most widely used permanent fastening solutions for joining sheet metal, plastics, fibreglass, composites and other thin materials. They are designed for fast installation from one side of the workpiece, making them ideal where rear access is limited or where welding and bolting are impractical.

A blind rivet consists of a hollow rivet body and a mandrel pin. During installation, the mandrel is pulled through the rivet body using a rivet gun, causing the rear of the rivet to expand and clamp the materials together. Once the required setting force is reached, the mandrel snaps away, leaving a strong vibration-resistant permanent fixing.
