Peel Rivets - Dome Head
Brands you know and trust - Aerobolt
Peeled Rivets. An aluminium body, steel pin rivet for softer material.
The Peel rivet is designed for the fast and simple fastening of a rigid material onto a soft material base. Upon installation the head of the pin is provided with edges that longitudinally cut the rivet body. This divides the body into four petals that bend outwards and meet the material to be fastened, creating a blind locking head with a large diameter.
The big blind-side anchor distributes both the load and the clamping force, reducing the risk of crushing or breaking of the parent material. Once the riveting process is finished, the head of the mandrel comes off leaving a central hole. Aerobolt is a leading Sydney supplier of rivets and we can assist with both the numerous rivet types and their application, check the blog or review rivet gun selection.
